In this course students can gain up to 18 Achievement standard credits at Level 1 and gain merit and excellence edorsement if they get 14 or more merit or higher credits. It is expected that students passed ALL major projects on the Year 10 course. A Merit or more in the Scratch or Web projects is desirable as is Level 5 in Technology process. Students must have completed Code Avengers HTML/CSS Level 1. Students will need some credit on their Papercut account although printing is
minimal in this subject as work can be saved online for assessments. Students will need a 40 page clear file.
DITCS201
In this course students can gain up to 20 Achievement standard credits at Level 2 and can gain merit or excellence edorsement if they get 14 or more merit or higher credits. Students in this course also have a chance to gain 3 literacy credits.It is expected that all students passed ALL Achievement stadards on the DITCS101 course in 2014. A Merit is required in one of the Computer Science standards to adequately prepare themselves for the course this year.
